My question is, "How can you not fall in love with Scarlett Johannsson's voice?"
This is such a beautiful movie where Joaquin Phoenix once again shines as Theodore Twombly, with a beautiful voice role by the amazing Scarlett Johansson, while the rest of the supporting cast which includes Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde, Rooney Mara, Chris Pratt are good in their roles and provide good help which keeps the pace of the movie going forward.
Everytime I revisit this gem, I realised how deeply complex, yet utterly simple humans and their emotions are. A person can fall in love with anyone, sometimes only because they're the only ones whom they talk to. At times, lonely people are considered to be unlovable but apparently they're not. They just need someone to talk to. We as humans crave that significant other half, mostly because we need someone to talk to. Her explores these themes beautifully.
One review said: "Phoenix must communicate his movie's meaning and feelings virtually on his own. That he does, with subtle grace and depth. Phoenix shows us what it's like when a mourning heart comes alive—because he loves Her." The cinematography and colour palette of the movie are beautiful, they're eye pleasing and a delight to look at.
Jonze conceived the idea in the early 2000s after reading an article about a website that allowed for instant messaging with an artificial intelligence program. After making I'm Here (2010), a short film sharing similar themes, Jonze returned to the idea. He wrote the first draft of the script in five months.
The role of Samantha was recast in post-production, with Samantha Morton being replaced with Johansson and she "speaks Samantha in tones sweet, sexy, caring, manipulative and scary" and that her "vocal tour de force is award-worthy". The more I think about this film, the more I feel like words don't do justice to this gem of a movie.

MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN!
Submissions for our 2020 BRAVE NEW GIRLS anthology, edited by myself and Paige Daniels, are now OPEN! Check it out: http://bravenewgirls.weebly.com/submissions.html
Deadline is January 15, 2020. ✨
The criteria are that stories must be: ✨
About a teen girl (14-18) with an interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math)
Geared toward a tween/teen audience (10-18)
PG in content, as many of our readers are very young, and we want parents/guardians/family friends to be comfortable giving these books to the children in their lives. No graphic sex ("sweet" romance with kissing and hand holding and such is fine), no graphic violence (bloodless comic-book-movie-style violence is fine), no swearing (biblical curse words, i.e. "hell" or "damn", and made-up sci-fi cursing, e.g. "frak" or "gorram", are fine)
In the sci-fi category. We're open to any and all sub-genres (space opera, contemporary with speculative tech, historical with speculative tech, dystopia, cyberpunk, steampunk, solarpunk, dieselpunk, biopunk, silkpunk... all the punks)
Between 2,500 and 10,000 words in length
We strive to be as inclusive as possible and encourage authors and characters from the whole range of human backgrounds, across race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, religion, national origin, ability, socioeconomic status, and more.
